Check the alignment of the side seams and the depth of the pockets in your QC images. Crooked crotch seams and uneven leg lengths are frequent manufacturing slip-ups that are hard to fix later. What to settle before you pay

• The size chart, not the size label. Letter sizes on Chinese listings are unreliable; centimetres are not.
