How we check links
A catalogue is only worth reading if the entries still work. This page sets out exactly what gets checked, how often, and what we cannot promise.
What is verified on each entry
- The link resolves. The item is opened inside LitBuy to confirm the product still exists on the marketplace side. Entries that no longer resolve are removed, not parked.
- The reference price is re-read. The CNY figure on the page comes from the seller listing at the time of the check. It is not carried over from an old sheet.
- The category still fits. Items get recategorised when a seller changes what a listing points at.
- The photograph matches the item. Placeholder and promo graphics are rejected in favour of a photograph of the actual product.
What is not verified
We have not held, worn or tested any of these items, and we do not know the factory, the materials or the batch. Nothing on this site is a statement about authenticity, and there is no entry here that we can tell you is well made — only that it is still available and what it costs.
How often
The catalogue is walked weekly. Entries in volatile categories — footwear and outerwear, where sellers rotate stock fastest — get looked at more often than stable ones. The last-checked date is printed on every product page so you can judge for yourself how fresh the entry is.
Reporting a problem
Dead link, wrong price, item that should not be listed: send it to [email protected] with the entry ID from the product page. Those reports are triaged before anything else.
