How an entry is checked

The desk reopens every published entry on a weekly cycle. Each pass confirms three things: that the link still resolves, that the CNY figure on the seller page still matches what the entry says, and that the photograph still shows the product rather than a promotional panel. An entry that fails any of the three is corrected that week or withdrawn.

The two dates on an entry

The date on a product page is the date of the last completed pass, not the date the entry was first written. Both dates are recorded separately, so an old entry that is still holding up can be told apart from a new one.

What the desk has not done

No item in this catalogue has been held, worn, weighed or tested. The factory, the material and the batch behind any entry are unknown here, and nothing written on a product page should be read as a statement about origin or quality. An entry records what the listing and the price band support, and stops there.
